Major meals are included in the cost of room and board. Major meals include: Breakfast daily (Brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday) and Dinner Sunday through Friday, except on holidays when an alternative schedule is posted. Hot and cold drinks, as well as, a microwave and toaster are available to the residents throughout the day and evening.
Guests are allowed to dine at TMH with residents for the cost of the meal. Please see the Front Desk Attendant for current guest meal prices and to obtain a guest meal ticket.
We have a laundry room with washers ($0.75) and dryers ($0.75). Irons and ironing boards are also provided on each floor.
Residents may use our fitness area, which includes a treadmill, an elliptical machine, a Pilates machine, exercise balls, free weights, and a scale. The community refrigerators and freezers are also located in this room, as well as, a vending machine, drink machine, water filter, and microwave.
The area also features a television with digital cable, a DVD player, and stadium style recliners, which are available for resident use. Time slots for the television may be reserved by visiting the Front Desk. The room also features a collection of movies, multiple puzzles, and various board games.
In addition to the Wi-Fi connections available throughout the building, TMH offers a computer room, located on the lobby level, that features three desktop computers. Residents may obtain a room-specialized printer/copier code in order to use the copier and printer machine located in the computer room. Copies and printed pages are $0.10 per B/W page, $0.20 for color and local faxes and scans are $0.25 per page.
Residents are more than welcome to receive packages at TMH. The U.S. Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx deliver to TMH on a daily basis. Package slips are created for large packages and placed in the residents’ mailboxes located behind the Front Desk in the lobby.
Future residents are allowed to send mail and packages to TMH starting one week prior to their scheduled arrival. Please do not send mail or packages more than one week in advance of your arrival. There is no need to list a room number when sending mail or packages.
Mixed paper, mixed plastics, and aluminum/tin cans can be recycled in house. Recycling receptacles are located on each floor near the elevator, as well as, in the community recreation room.
TMH is a temporary residence hall for young women ages 18-34. With only a minimum stay of two weeks, residents can enjoy an affordable place to live, home-cooked meals and a great location.
