TMH COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Notice Regarding COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement for New TMH Residents:
The health and safety of our residents, our staff and our visitors has been of paramount importance to Thompson-Markward Hall throughout the global pandemic in an effort to avoid the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus. To that end, in addition to our strict safety and health protocols which are consistent with the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as local D.C. health authorities, the TMH Board of Trustees has adopted a mandatory COVID-19 Vaccine Policy for all staff, visitors and our current and new residents. Thus, effective November 15, 2021 all new residents of TMH, as a condition of acceptance of their residential application will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination within two weeks of such resident’s approved move-in date unless a legal exemption is requested and approved. All vaccine or related documentation shall be maintained in confidence by TMH consistent with applicable law.
We greatly appreciate your support and your anticipated compliance with TMH’s continued efforts to ensure that our residents, staff and entire community remain safe and healthy.
